Sun was intense, first race with about 13 knots and the second it got lighter, always from around 200 to 230 degrees.
At the first race a few boats managed to overstand the layline but it paid the left side of the race course, who saw Austrian Champion AUT 117 with Auteried, Kendler and Moser rounding the mark first despite their crash yesterday in the rocks in the last race. Followed close by `Buddy` GER 304 with Mashkiwitz, Oehler and Wossala and in third the current world champion SLO 1 Antoncic, Strakh and Nevecny who managed to defend the position against USA 832 Kamps, Meyer and Kamps just before the finish line.
At the second race again a super performance from SLO1 who managed to finish first after a crazy start where wind died and shift to the left, but the middle and looking for the wind was the way to advance, a normal feeling that when two people hike against other without people hiking is faster, no matter if angles are not perfect, Team Marinepool GER 300 with Koch, Koch and Bornemann did a great job rounding second and keeping the position against NED 25 with Offermans, Dusee and Dusee and their sponsor partner Team Marinepool-Ramadabalaton HUN 77 with Wossala, Vezer and Nemeth.
BSA young helm trophy is granted already by Diego Motta (local sailor from AVAS with 19 years old) sailing today with an excellent performance today and now on the fight for the Reloaded trophy for the best placed woman constested bu Francesca Sbardolini, Atilia Papini, Liana Bettinelli and Susanne Kuchta the first winner of the trophy in 2007.
Tomorrow two more races will be sailed and a prize giving will happen afterwards. But today the Gala Dinner is scheduled to happen at the main sponsor location Terme di Boario, sailors now have their natural refreshment with beers, cola, ice cream from Gelatissimo and some wine from Ferghettina, also some pasta will come out soon, and late this afternoon the buses will be at the club door to take the competitors to the Dinner.
